May 13 ~ “Tea & Talk” in celebration of our “150th” at the Fountain Branch Library (FREE) Finger foods & learn about the women of Fountain from their descendants (11:45am-1:15pm) Call ahead as seating is limited.
June ~ City Hall “150th” display featuring men of Fountain & Library display
June 6 ~ Open House at the Fountain Museum & intro of the “Historic Walking Tour” – FREE hot dogs, chips & drinks (10am-3pm)
June 16 ~ Fountain Farmers Market (Every Tuesday: 3-7pm)
June 20 ~ Farmers Market at Methodist Church (Hwy 85/87) (Every Saturday: 10am-2pm)
June 28 ~ Fountain City Dog Expo & Dog Park Rededication (Noon-5pm)

July 17 ~ Thunder in the Valley Car Show at Metcalfe Park (Starting at 6pm)

Nov. 11 ~ Veteran’s Day Ceremony & Parade in the square in front of City Hall (TBA)

Dec. 12 ~ Cowboy Christmas Celebration in the square in front of City H (10am-4pm)
MEETINGS
City Council meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 6 pm in City Hall
The Planning Commission meets on the 1st and 2nd Wednesday of Every month at 6 pm in City Hall
Parks Advisory Board meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 6 pm in City Hall
Public Safety Advisory Board Meets the third Wednesday of every month in locations to be announced, but usually in City Hall on the 2nd floor, or Station I 2nd floor, beginning at 6 pm.
Fountain Valley Historical Society meets the 2nd Monday of every month
The Fountain Valley Foundation meets on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 6 pm in the lower floor of the Walt Fortman Center (in the old library)
The Historic Preservation Task Force meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 4 pm
The Economic Development Committee meets in City Hall on the first Tuesday of every month at 4:30

9am – 1 pm Free Immunizations at Peak Vista Health Clinic/bring your immunization cards. Find out what resource there are in the community, enjoy activities designed around safety, back to school and family issues. Free Hearing tests, etc….
